Handling tools and equipment in the mining industry can result in debris impacting the back of the hand.
HM® Impact gloves come in a segmented three-layer foam and flexible Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) construction that protects the back of hand, fingers and thumb from impacts, lacerations and abrasion, without restricting hand movement. The one-piece DNX Grip™ provides grip control and cut resistance, and is double-stitched onto synthetic leather to add durability. The adjustable wrist strap ensures a snug fit while the gloves are in use.

I'm an electrician and the scope of my work can be anything from pulling wire, lugging pipe, to installing devices and finish work. The tasks I do require a high degree of hand dexterity and good grip. This pair of gloves has zero mobility. Yes, they feel thick and armored. But good luck doing anything that requires hand mobility. These gloves would be good if you were literally carrying rocks all day. Finger tips have at least a quarter inch of stitching, so using my fingertips is a no-go with these gloves. They might be fine pulling MC cable, but other than that, pretty useless to me, unfortunately.
